Darran Wee

Darran is a portfolio manager with Citizens Bank’s Aerospace, Defense and Government Services group. He has over 20 years of corporate finance experience, specializing in both debt and equity capital fund raising, and investment management. Prior to Citizens Bank, Darran has worked with GE Capital Sponsor Finance, GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services, HILCO, Fitch Ratings, and GSV Advisors.

Darran graduated with distinction from the Harvard Business Analytics program, a joint program with Harvard Business School, the Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and the Harvard Arts and Sciences School; earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, majoring in Decision Sciences and Media Marketing; and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida’s Honors College.

Darran's professional and creative pursuits have been with assisting start-ups in social media, EdTech, AgTech, and a non-profit news and documentary cable channel start up with financial modeling, market positioning, investor presentation preparation, and fund-raising. Presently, Darran serves as a mentor for Plug and Play and an advisor to a social media technology startup. Previously, he served on the board of Alternatives, Inc., a Chicago nonprofit that supports and empowers Chicago youth to build safer and more vibrant communities through a combination of restorative justice and behavioral health services.
